NASA - NASA Investigates Proton Radiation Effects on Cells

Here is a very interesting article about the detrimental effects of proton radiation on human cells.  Does this mean that proton beam therapy is actually contributing to tumor growth instead of tumor arrest?  Does it mean that photon beam radiotherapy is preferred over protons?  In my opinion, this article raises more questions about often-preferred proton beam radiotherapy.  Click below for the original article.
